Appointments We strive to accommodate each client to the best of our ability. Conformations and appointment reminders are sent via text + email. We recommend that you book your appointments in advance to ensure the best possible availability A credit card is required to hold appointments at The Bold Type. If you choose not to provide this information, we will not hold your reservation Tardiness Tardiness is a major disruption to our day to day operations. When you book your appointment, your service provider is there ready to serve you and only you. If you arrive 10 minutes or more late to your reserved appointment time, The Bold Type does not guarantee you will be seen and the cancellation fee will be implemented. If you are seen, service prices may very Rescheduling + Cancellations We understand life happens and situations may arise where you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Please cancel or reschedule your service 48 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees In the event of an appointment reschedule or cancellation received less than the 48 hours prior to appointment, a non-refundable fee of 50% for the reserved service(s) will incur No Shows No shows will not be tolerated and will be charged a non-refundable fee of 100% per service(s) booked. Balance must be paid in order to schedule any further appointments Refunds All sales of services, gift cards and packages are final. Under no circumstances are any payments on services made refundable. With that said, customer satisfaction is important to us so we do offer a 7 day grace period. If for any reason you have any grievances within that time, please reach out to us for a complimentary consultation where we can address the problem Consultation Forms Consultation forms MUST be filled out prior to your scheduled service. They are attached to your appointment confirmation that is sent out via text + email. Please fill this out prior to your visit to make your experience a breeze and allow more time for treatments Failure to do so beforehand means cutting into your appointment time for paperwork, which we then can not guarantee your full treatment time Allergies The Bold Type will not be held liable for any allergic reactions due to product used during services. Please list any known allergies in your personal client consultation form so that we can do our best do avoid any issues. If by chance you do have an adverse reaction, please let us know so that we can follow up with the proper home care Children + Extra Persons Our services are a chance for you to escape reality and unwind. Upon booking, we collect your personal information such as name, email, telephone number, some medical information and card number in order to create an easy client booking database. We will never disclose this private information with any third party
